how fast does the baja mini bike blitz go?
Jun 11, 2008 by Henry t | Posted in Motorcycles
How good quality is it what do you think a good price is for it?
It has a 2.8 hp engine and has a sped of 15 mph according to the Baja website. If you disable the governor you might get 20 mph. But even 15 is faster than most people can ride a bicycle.

Smooth jazz, a five-person rock band and a Bollywood dance crew are just three of the wide array of acts being showcased tonight at Engineers Got Talent, a show aimed at exhibiting the talents of engineering students.
Engineering students of all disciplines will gather tonight at the Engineers Got Talent show as part of the 43rd Annual Engineers Week. Other events this week include a club showcase and barbecue on Tuesday in which more than 20 engineering clubs will participate.
As part of this event, engineering projects such as a concrete canoe and a mini baja built from scratch will be also showcased. Wednesday is Kids Day in Wilson Plaza, an event where roughly 15 clubs will create elementary school projects that range anywhere from constructing paper airplanes to making ice cream out of liquid nitrogen.

Frenchman Jean-Louis Schlesser wins sixth Desert Challenge title
31.12.69
The X-raid Mini All4 Racing crew were delayed replacing a viscous fan on the Mini’s engine this morning. They had to stop several times from then on and this spoiled the Emirati’s chance of taking a potential stage win.
Schlesser and Russian co-driver Konstantin Zhilstov had a comfortable overnight lead to fall back on in any case and the two-time Dakar champion managed to reach the finish line to confirm a record-breaking sixth Desert Challenge victory since 1994 and an early lead over Al-Mutaiwei in the 2012 FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies. “This is probably the most demanding rally with sand dunes in the world,” said Al-Mutaiwei, who finished the stage in sixth position to confirm second overall. “I am quite happy to finish second and to see that I still have the speed to match the rest after the seven-year absence. I must not forget that this is still a learning year for me and to finish second is still a pleasing achievement.

Punched Posies – CC283
I love stamping cards, altering 3D items and making scrapbook pages. I've been stamping for over 9 years and just had my eight year Stampin' Up! anniversary in May. I love being part of something that sparks my creativity and hear people comment, "you MADE this?" I also enjoy sharing that passion with others in my classes! If you live anywhere in the Dublin, Powell, Hilliard or surrounding Columbus, Ohio areas, join us! I love to meet new stamping friends!
Gosh…I haven't played along with the SCS challenges in quite a while! I was looking for a color challenge and decided to play along with them today! The colors are Baja Breeze, Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake and a Neutral. Very fun color combo!
Here is my take on those colors!
For my card, I started with the Top Note die and cut the Whisper White with the Big Shot. I also knew I wanted to use one of the phrases in Stampin' Up!'s stamp set, Word Play…I love how large the font is on these! I picked this greeting with the thought that I'd use hearts some way…then saw my Punched Posies stamp set and decided Poppy Parade and Baja Breeze flowers was the way to go. I stamped the words in Poppy Parade on the Whisper White, then sponged around the edges with Baja Breeze ink.
I inked up the large flower in Poppy Parade and punched with the Fancy Flower punch. Then I stamped the smaller flowers in Baja Breeze and cut them out (they are really intended to use with the 1" circle, but I like them cut out better). I used Stampin' Dimensionals to place them on the bottom of the Top Note. I used a button tied with Linen Thread for the center of the large flower and the new adhesive 1/2 pearls in the centers of the smaller flowers…I LOVE these!
