Rockstar Energy's Rob MacCachren Wins at Lake Elsinore

There was standing room only at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park last weekend as people from all over Southern California poured in to watch the stars of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) battle on the all new short course track.  The newly constructed track was well-received by fans and racers alike with features such as a high elevation change, table-tops, tight hair pin turns and an infield mogul section. Unfortunately practice was canceled on Saturday, which meant that fan favorite Rob MacCachren and his talented crew were not able to dial in the ROCKSTAR Energy Drink / Makita Power Tools / BFGoodrich Tires truck for the track and conditions.

Beccy Gordon, Sister of Robby, Will Race Electric Mitsubishi i at Pikes Peak

CYPRESS, California — Beccy Gordon, sister of Robby Gordon and wife of IndyCar driver Ryan Hunter-Reay, will drive an electric Mitsubishi i July 8 in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

Beccy Gordon will drive one of two 2012 Mitsubishi i electric cars that will be entered in this year's "Race to the Clouds."

Another version of the i, a more exotic race-modified vehicle, will be driven by two-time Paris-Dakar Rally champion Hiroshi Masuoka.

This will be the 90th edition of the famous hill climb. A variety of vehicles will compete one at a time against the clock over a 12.42-mile, 156-turn course that rises some 4,700 feet in elevation as it winds its way up the famous mountain in east central Colorado.

30 SCORE Racers Remain in Chase for Toyota Milestone Awards Heading to ...

LOS ANGELES -- Following the first three of five races in the 2012 SCORE Desert Series, 30 of SCORE’s toughest drivers remain in the hunt to earn 2011 SCORE Toyota Milestone Awards.

Leading the way are six racers in the featured SCORE Trophy Truck division, three in Class 1 for unlimited open-wheelers and and five in Class 1/2-1600 for single or two-seat open wheelers powered by 1600cc VW engines.
