What is the toughest, fastest, dirt capable RC vehicle out there?

My husband is going to Iraq for a year and I'd like to buy him an RC vehicle for the dirt track they have there. I am not sure which one is best to purchase. I want one that is fast, tough, and can handle dirt really well. I don't really have a limited
welll.....idk what anything is caleed but i know the really big ones at walmart are usualing pretty duralable....thats all i know though sorry
