Paris Hilton walks out of ABC News interview
20.07.11
The hotel heiress seemed calm when Harris asked if she felt overshadowed by the new wave of socialites like Kim Kardashian, or if she was worried about the low ratings of her new Oxygen reality show, "The World According To Paris." But when he asked, "Do you ever worry about your moment having passed?" Hilton stood up and walked out of the interview.
Hilton has not commented about the matter. She reportedly talked to her publicist on the sideline before eventually returning to the interview with a rebuttal for the "Good Morning America" weekend co-anchor, who interviewed her at her newly-renovated Los Angeles home.
"I've been in this business for 15 years now, so it's been a very long time," Hilton told Harris. "Just like any other business person or someone in the industry, it's always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects."

Anchor House cyclist suffered fatal head injury upon impact
19.07.11
The driver, Sandra Gray, of Annandale, was stopped on Payne Road eastbound at Route 31, waiting to make a left turn into a service station, when McCune rode into the back of her vehicle, authorities said.
Tim Quinn, a veteran of the yearly Anchor House ride and a close friend to McCune, said the rider was last in a line of three cyclists crossing Route 31. It is believed that McCune had his head down and wasn’t paying attention to the road ahead, Quinn said.
“He could have been reading his cue sheet ... or reaching for his water bottle,” Quinn said. “There’s any number of possible explanations, but I’ve ridden thousands of miles with Doug, and I know him to have always been a very safe rider. He would never take any kind of a risk that would have put himself and anyone else in danger. “
