rollihg. We’re down to the last couple of weeks. It’s nice to have those guys back in camp. I feel lot better.”
Redmond said Stanton and Cishek will get the day off today and stay back in Jupiter.
Henderson Alvarez will start today in Port St. Lucie against the Mets in his first start since Team Venezuela was eliminated from the WBC.
Redmond spoke with Cishek this morning in Jupiter about the WBC.
“I think for Cishek the experience was big for him. He said he’s never pitched in that environment,” he said.
“That’s important for young guys, to be in an environment with a lot of pressure, especially with the role he’s going to be in this year. It’s nice for him to get that experience and that exposure so early in his career.”

Fall River aquarium vandal may face animal cruelty charges
31.12.69
The owner of a pet shop in Fall River called Animal Instincts is furious.
"The malicious destruction of aquariums, and the killing of the life in them, is something that's extremely tough to swallow," distraught businessman and devoted animal lover Bob Schenck said.
Schenck is still devastated over a crime that took place on February 20th.
That's when a man broke into the pet and aquatics specialty shop and started smashing tropical fish tanks with a metal pipe, destroying several displays, including a massive tank that Schenck had worked well over two decades to maintain, build and cultivate.

Suspect in fish tank destruction could face animal cruelty charges
31.12.69
The suspect who broke into Animal Instincts Aquarium & Pet Center and smashed a large reef tank — killing several exotic fish and coral on Feb. 20 — could be looking at more than breaking and entering charges.
“It is possible that he could be charged with animal cruelty,” Fall River police Lt. Kevin Tetrault said.
There are some questions as to whether fish are covered under the state’s animal cruelty statutes. Chief Richard LeBlond, director of law enforcement for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, said the Massachusetts General Laws protect only goldfish from being given away as prizes in games of chance.
