Cabinetry Makers are National Geographic Fish Tank Kings

While the show dives into the pressure-filled job of building massive aquariums, a good portion of the custom fabricating and woodworking firm's work is in building out the cabinetry and interior settings that will support the tanks.
As a result, Living Color Enterprises has a large woodshop: 43,000 square feet. When not handling museum projects, nature centers, or efforts like a giant (and fast-ball proof) fish tank for the Florida Marlins baseball stadium, Living Color Aquariums does a healthy business in kitchen cabinets, custom cabinetry and millwork, along with commercial fabrication of complex themed environments.
Headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale, Living Color Enterprises Inc. was founded in 1988.

TV looks at South Florida, the land of the weird
31.12.69
Darts nimbly among amusing anecdotes, quirky character sketches and serious historical themes.
The documentary’s subject matter offers an ample supply of all three. South Florida was a perfect microcosm of the fractured and even schizophrenic political impulses that first gave birth to Prohibition and then destroyed it. We went dry two years earlier than the rest of the country and turned wet a year later; yet no region of the country defied the law more flagrantly.
South Florida’s early ban on alcohol was a product of what political scientists call the Bootleggers and Baptists model. Priggish moralists and social engineers, mostly from the overlapping movements for women’s suffrage and temperance, collaborated with local tycoons like Henry Flagler who saw dry laws as a shortcut to a government-enforced monopoly on booze as long as their business could get grandfathered liquor permits.

Wyckoff Public Library Opening is 1 Week Away
31.12.69
The grand re-opening of the Wyckoff Public Library is just one week away and after just more than a year of construction, the excitement that's been building — right along side the new wing — is absolutely palpable.
When the doors open to the community on Saturday, May 19, visitors should be prepared for a party that includes live music, mimes and poetry slams.
"We want our opening day to be a wall-to-wall celebration of this beautiful and amazing new library ," said Library Director Mary Witherell . "We are very proud of what we accomplished in getting this expansion and renovation done in only 15 months, and we know the people of Wyckoff will be very happy with the final product."
