What type of Carb Cleaner solution is recommended? I saw a can of Spray Carb Cleaner at Academy?
Does the 2003 40HP Yamaha have an idle adjustment? If so, where is it located.
Are there any special tools required for removal and reinstalling

Yamaha to exhibit at 17th China (Shanghai) International Boat Show

China (Shanghai) International Boat Show to be held from April 19 (Thur.) to 22 (Sun.), 2012 in Shanghai, China.

Yamaha Motor aims to increase sales of marine products in emerging economies as part of its next medium-term management plan objective of expanding “business scale.” The show is seen as important trade expo on the road to this objective for promoting full-scale business in the marine markets of not only China but also the Republic of Korea and other parts of East Asia. The Yamaha booth at this prominent show is organized primarily by group company Yamaha Motor Commercial Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

The theme of the Yamaha booth is “Quality Time on the Water” and it will exhibit four boats, including the “SC390″ (Japan domestic model EXULT36) and “SR310″ (Japan domestic model NYTRO), five personal watercraft and six outboard motor models. It is designed to promote the quality and technology of Yamaha products garnered from more than 50 years of achievement in the marine industry, while also highlighting the many fun and rewarding forms of marine leisure.

Pursuit enters sport yacht market

— Pursuit Boats is announcing plans to deliver a sport yacht powered exclusively by Yamaha Outboards to market in early fall.

"Our goal is to leverage our strengths in design, engineering and manufacturing along with our reputation for delivering the finest in outboard powered fiberglass boats. We see an opportunity to bring new technologies to the sport yacht market giving customers distinct advantages in performance and fuel efficiencies not available in today's marketplace," Tom Slikkers, president, Pursuit Boats, said.

Montgomery Leads FLW Series Event on Lake Chickamauga

“It started off real slow, but later on in the day I was able to get things going,” Montgomery said. “I hit a couple of places that had a lot of fish in them. Basically I’m just fishing shallow.”

Montgomery said he caught “25 or 30” fish during the course of the day including “10 or 12” keepers. Montgomery said he was moving around quite a bit on the lake but preferred to keep his fishing locations a secret on the first day of competition.

“I had a lot of places by myself,” Montgomery said. “I feel pretty good about it. If I can just get one big one a day … I caught a 4 ½-pounder today. If I don’t catch a big one, I think I’ll catch 11 or 12 pounds.

“The one (I) worry about is Mark Rose,” Montgomery added. “He’s hard to beat on the Tennessee River. He’s got the Tennessee River really figured out. He’ll be tough. I’m sure he’s catching them out on the ledges. He’s probably one of the best ledge fishermen in the world.”

Mark Rose of Marion, Ark., trails Montgomery in the No. 2 spot with five bass weighing 16-7.

Rounding out the remainder of the top-10 pros after day one at Lake Chickamauga are:

3rd: Chris Baumgardner, Gastonia, N.C., five bass, 15-11 10th: Folgers pro Scott Suggs, Bryant, Ark., five bass, 12-2

Overall there were 343 bass weighing 775 pounds, 2 ounces caught by 102 pros Wednesday. The catch included 35 five-bass limits.

In FLW Series competition, pros are competing for a potential top award of $50,000 plus valuable points in the hope of qualifying for a shot at the 2011 Forrest Wood Cup, the world championship of bass fishing.
