Do you know a place to buy a used concession trailer in the western USA?
Jul 01, 2008 by coguy | Posted in Other - Food & Drink
I have tried for hours, with very little success to find one online that is reasonably priced in the western US. Seems like they are all back East somewhere. I tried Google, Dogpile, Ebay etc. Any ideas? With fuel prices the way they are, I can't afford
No idea what you are looking to spend, but I did find this one:

Band aid
21.05.48
Band camp starts today for Ringgold High School’s 165 marching students — but not on their home turf.
The Marching Tigers will be the guests of Heritage High School’s band, which is generously sharing its rehearsal hall and field with its cross-county rivals.
It’s the first of several adjustments the resilient Ringgold students will make this year as they and their school recover from the effects of the April 27 tornado that ripped through Ringgold, Ga.
In addition to major equipment losses, the band has had to forfeit a trip to New York City, where they were invited to march in the Veterans Day Parade marking the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center. The band has more pressing needs for that money now.

Healthy cuisine hitches a ride
26.06.11
POTSDAM — Healthy food will be rolling through the north country this summer.
A Good to Go trailer selling nutritious alternatives to concession food is set to begin operating at public events in St. Lawrence County in July. The trailer will be funded and operated by the St. Lawrence County Health initiative, a nonprofit organization established in 1999 to acquire and share health-related information, grants and other resources with people and agencies in the county.
"It used to be a cotton candy trailer, but there's not cotton candy anymore," said Ruth A. Fishbeck, the health initiative's executive director. "We did a survey a few years back where people in the community said that there's no place to get anything remotely healthy at all of these community events. What we're ultimately hoping is that it'll be self-sufficient."

Wait a bit hotter for final Potter
15.07.11
It was like a goblet of fire for Harry Potter fans Thursday, who risked standing outside in some of the hottest temperatures in the nation to be among the first in line to see the final Harry Potter film.
The 106-degree heat wouldn't dissuade Paige Flores, 16, and her sisters, Chelsea, 22, and Ciera, 13, from being the first in line to see midnight showings of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2" at Carmike Cinemas' Sikes 10 theaters.
"We really didn't take that into consideration until last night," said Chelsea of the temperature.
They arrived at the mall at about 9:45 a.m. Thursday with friends Millicent Paris and Sydney Ameluxen, 13. They brought along iPods and Harry Potter books to help pass the time, along with chairs, blankets and, of course, plenty of water and fruit in a nearby cooler.

Why Should You Consider Mobile Ice Cream Catering?
2. Cold Plate Freezer - slightly larger than the cold box, much heavier and relies on heat transfer from large metal plates embedded in the walls of the freezer. This type of freezer needs to be plugged in overnight to cool down with the advantage that no power is needed at your catering event. You are simply relying on the thermal qualities of the plates themselves to keep product from spoilage. It can be transported on a small utility trailer or minivan. 3. Standard Freezer - requires power continuously to avoid product spoilage. Generally lighter than cold plate freezers, the disadvantage is that they must be plugged in continuously. However, based upon the insulating properties of the freezer, you should be able to transport it 2-3 hours unplugged without risk of product spoilage. It also can be transported on a small utility trailer or minivan. Regulations vary widely across the country from fairly loose to very strict. The more relaxed Health Department may allow dipping from an Igloo(TM) with little more sanitation than 3 buckets of water. The strictest - some of whom are in California - almost prohibit dipping in a mobile environment altogether regardless of whether a three bowl sink and clean running water is readily available. The bottom line here is you must check with your local Health Department for guidelines before even considering a purchase. For example, some states do not mandate a sneezeguard on your freezer; however, you may elect...
